Learned Shopkeepers

Nothing has changed

Nothing changes anyway

We learnt well where to see

We learnt well what to see

We learnt well how to see

We learnt well where to buy n where to sell

We learnt well what to buy n what to sell

We learnt well how to buy n how to sell

Rewards n gains

Ashes n pains

Gravity n force

Truth n flaws

Holding a scream in between

We learnt well even how to stop

We learnt well even when to pull away

claver n keen

Intensive n esteemed

Deaf n blind

Tempted n craved

Did we ever see what we never learnt?

Did we ever say what we never learnt?

Did we ever feel what we never learnt?

Did we ever ask for what we never learnt?

If we opened the box for a while

If we asked for a sin for a while

Nothing would be changed, may be

Nothing changes ever, may be

But our dark eyes would shine brighter for sure

N our wounded souls could find a way to heal for sure
